Hi peeps! It sure feels like forever that I've not post any of my remixes. Well the fact is it has been long and I'm truly guilty as charged. Sadly, my camera's busted and looks like I gotta go either get a new temporary camera right now to snap me me me. Lol..

I've a thought and  not sure whether will it be a brilliant idea, [in my mind.. I think it is ;p]. I would like to hear, read and view your take on Code Red. This will be a fun and great way to get to know all of you stylistas or one another. Here's my take on Code Red.

So my lovelies, would love to hear from you and also because I'm testing inlinkz, a new tool that I'm playing with. {Anna's No.17} In Love with My RED heels

I'm loving my red heels. Basically, my best buddy Steph will tell you this "she doesn't wear much heels". Yup that is right ladies, I'm a self-confessed flatties [is that even a word] or ballerina flat shoes kindna' gal. I love my flats so much that if possible I would love to collect all types of design, colours in various material whether leather, suade or velvet.

However, recently or sometime back I bought this fabulous pair of red wedge and it's so comfy that for the first time..my feet don't ache much from walking in them. What an improvement from me [self  gloating..give me 1 sec] Okay am back ;p.. I've always adored ladies who wear killer heels and walk like there's no tomorrow. Perhaps I look at their lovely heels in envy and wished I could do the same. Now, I say "bye-bye" to my tiny-whiny envy cause I believe I'm embracing myself to wear more heels.

To all the sexy sassy lovely heels out there.. if you can hear me..that is, you will soon be finding your way to my closet. Muahahahahha [okay.. i know that sounded twisted and evil, but oh well..] We girls just gotta have some FUN!!

{Anna's No. 15} Old School.. and Halfway there...

Hi peeps.. and ahhhh!!! I'm finally halfway of my 30x30 remixes. Yipppiiiiieeee... I know I'm slow.. but hey slow and steady wins the race right? Or so I think [thinking really hard right now.. do you see any light bulbs around my head?]

It's quite odd, but for a slight moment I feel like I'm back in the 70's or 80's. Then again.. what do I know about the 70's.. [very little am sure..]. When I was much younger, I like going through my mom's old photos and she is really stylish. If only I had her petite frame [lol...] Certain elements that I put together now resembles what she wore during her time; except mine are boot cut jeans and her one was a bell bottom jeans. Do you realised that the old 50's-60's fashion is coming back in trend?

Hehehe..I decided to edit my photo to have a vintage flare. "how cools technology now?"

I wish I could take one of my mom's photo.. scan it in and show you how gorgeous she looks during her younger years, not that she's not gorgeous now ;p.

Okay now, people may I draw your attention back to me please? [Lol..] Here's also a recap my very first 14 remixes.. now it's time for me to embrace for the final 15 more pieces challenge!

{Anna's No.14} British India Style??

Now what's with this British India post you might ask? Well.. to be honest, I might have hit a wall as my brain was stuck thinking of a post title. [lol...] If you like British India's style like I do.. and how they usually would dress up a mannequin, consider this outfit ;p.

Okay, a brief description.. basically over here in KL, M'sia we have a brand called British India and everything is apparently from India. Not sure if you have this brand overseas though. It's more like a travellers/safari clothing style but the pricing is way over the top [noticed how I've bolded this line..keke] I mean really the price is super expensive. Then again that's in my opinion. Perhaps it could be due to the bottoms or tops which are heavily embroidered either with stones or sequins or maybe because the fabrics used are mainly organza, linen, or cotton.

Well, I do own a couple of British India pieces but I usually get them on sale whereby if there's only 70-80% then only I'll consider getting a piece of item. In this 30 remixes, I only included one item from British India. Perhaps next time, my other upcoming posts, I'll show case my few pieces I collected from this brand.

However, this time.. the pieces I placed together are not from British India, and I believe I did pretty well in emulating their style. So what I can conclude is, we don't need super expensive clothes to emulate a style. We just need to be creative and work with our pieces. Agree?

{Anna's No.13} Miss Sassy

Hello Monday and to the rest of the week! Have you ever felt the need to kick start your engine after the weekend? I sure do as I feel like I'm such a home-y person. Well am sure you might agree with me that being able to stay home, do nothing, read a good book and a pamper session is a luxury. Or I could be turning into a couch potato??? [hehehhe....]

Apart from my fetish for cute cardis, I love polka dots too. Sometime back, I found a really great black skirt with a fantastic structure  [i am sensing some stares.. good ones or bad ones?]. The skirt hugs at all the right area and really accentuate a lady's curve. It also gives you a fantastic lift around the bum. Today I've finally wore this skirt for the very first time with my my polka dots top paired with this kick-ass skirt & accessorised with red heels, belt and earrings.

In my opinion, having some punch to an outfit adds some edge to start the week off right. Hmm..now what will I wear on Tuesday or the day after? Stay tune..

{Anna's No.12} Weekend Outing in Christmas Colours?

Just the other day, it was pretty strange as I was humming a Christmas Carol. I know... it's still beginning of the year and that Christmas is not till December. I guess Christmas somehow puts me in a different place and completely different mood. It's like nothing could stop me from just being happy, chirpy and above all nothing could tick me off like a time bomb.

The only thing bad probably you might think is "Oh god! what was she thinking, wearing those colours?" Oh well..like I said.. nothing could put me in a fowl mood if I think it's Christmas every single day. However,  this don't happen all the time as I fear my colleagues will think that I'm kuku. Lol..

Remember that top I just recently showcased? The F21 top, that I boast how comfy it was? Well, yeah.. guilty as charged..I kindna' wore it again over the weekend. Call me lazy, but then some of my remixes were in the wash and waiting to be ironed.

I'm such a sucker for cardis, and I think I should really drop that fetish of mine. What do you think? I can't believe that I paired my F21 top with one of my fav green cardi... Now, to reveal the outfit [drumrolls]..

{Anna's No.11} Anthropologist @ Work

Yeay! Here comes the weekend.. I have serious love for this Forever 21 top. I found it on a rack in Forever 21 and it was the one and only piece left. Plus it has a discounted price [a great buy ;)]. My heart dropped when I saw it and knew immediately that this top will slowly find a way into my closet, it's new home.

I don't know where to begin to tell you that this top is super comfy.. I could literally sleep in it. I believe this is my first time revealing the top too. Instead of pairing with a necklace, I decided to use my buttterfly scarf as the accessory instead. The top is a little pink-ish red. I think military green and maroon-ish colours work pretty well together. Today I feel like an anthropologist, scouting for new ideas to create new outfits. Or maybe an archeologist searching for precious jewels, but with Sex in The City's SJP in mind.. pairing the whole outfit together with va va voom red wedge. Now, perhaps one day I will have my Louboutin??

{Anna's No.10} Getting there..

Oh gosh.. I'm soooooo way behind on the outfit remix. However, I'm getting there.. I was just looking back through some of the outfits.. and I think I could do better. I am itching to create more fun playful outfits or something funky...

Screw the hot weather, I'm gonna be me, myself and I and do my layering if possible. Lol..

Not sure if this shot works, but I was pretty lazy to step outside and since I was wearing green I thought of photographing my outfit in my own cosy room.. Do I look like a cameleon trying to blend in with my sheets?

{Anna's No.8) Thoughts...

When I put together this outfit, I thought to myself "it's pretty shabby chic" isn't it? The top is cotton, which is pretty relax but the skirt is part silk with floral prints and pleated. For that moment I felt like I was in the French Riviera or in some kind of old movies. The feel is pretty semi-casual, and this look was originally inspired by a look put together from the InStyle magazine. I believe it's the most recent Natalie Portman issue, either the Jan or Feb issue.

"Thinking"

Originally, I had a blazer paired with that I wore to the office. Since it was too hot, I decided to omit the blazer. Not sure why I titled this post as "thoughts". I guess a lot of stuff had been going through my mind lately in terms of career, out take on life etc. A shot was even taken without me realising that I was starring deeply into the sky. However, I kinda' like this photo of me.

Right now, all I could think of is a vacation. I'm so in dire need of a getaway. Lol..

{Anna's No.5} Lois Lane Wannabe

It was still the weekend so, I suppose I'm still in my role play >.<. This time my uni mate pointed out that I look a little serious-ish like a little reporter/ food critic wannabe [yeah right!?!]...Having wore the outfit with a messenger bag, and wore my glasses. Hmm..but I might have failed, since I have fun and food glorious food written all over my face and mind.

Well, this time as usual, I didn't get much shots as I had to rush out to dinner. I had dinner with my uni-mate whom I've not seen for a while now. Can't believe that time keeps flying by so quickly and that it's been 6 years now since we threw our graduation hats into the air, collected our scroll from our Deans, plus we have been sucked into the real world. We do nothing but work, eat and sleep. Gosh.. what a way to live right? Hahahaha..

Okay I made reservation for us at an Italian Restaurant (Silver Spoon Trattoria) And I have forgotten that it's Valentines day after the weekend, so when we arrived, the mood of the restaurant was filled with couples being all mushy [not that I've anything agaisnt it]. It's just that the both of us love laughing a lot and yes we laugh pretty loud too, so I didn't have the heart to spoil the couples mood. Thank god the restaurant manager understood our situation and offered a party room to the both of us. Yup, the whole room was just for us. Imagine all the stares we had since we had special service, where the manager came to serve us and all we talked about was food. I felt like a food critic for a split moment ;p. Since I didn't get to snap much of myself, I managed to be a food reporter and snapped the wonderful meal we had. Right now, I'm just hoping that the photo shoot will be the workout session [lazy me ;p] Overall rating: The food was delish and a great night catching up.

{Anna} Bumble-Bee Tuesday

Okay I know this isn't exactly part of the remix..but I wanted to share with you what I wore today. However, there are some pieces or 2 pieces which I could list which were part of my remix list. They are my favourite Tony Bianco shoes which I purchased from Sydney and Dorothy Perkins black slacks/trousers/pants. Pretty serious and business like today eh? I wanted to wear my blazer this morning, but I thought it was just way to serious. So I swapped with one of my really old short sleeve cardi and to have some fun at my work place, I decided to wear a striking yellow top. I know, yellow can be a tricky colour and I feel that I may have carried it quite well.



I was not trying to punch anyone..was just holding onto my cardi.. Lol

I felt like a buzzy bee today hence the title. Buzzing around in the office minding my own work. Ah! ..this is my work look, either hair tied up or down, or pin up. Lol.. And yes, I wear my spectacles, which so happen to be one of my favourite. It's a Just Cavalli frame in maroon in colour.

Some say I look really serious from the way I dressed. I just think I am being professional. What do you think?
